How strong is your house?

The Big Bad Wolf changed his disguise in the form of a powerful hairdryer this week! We needed to see if the houses built by the children would withstand the wolf huffing and puffing them down. Since we didn’t know a friendly wolf(there must be one somewhere), we substituted him for the hairdryer.

Many of the houses were able to remain standing despite the strong wind blown by the hairdryer, but some houses did blow down leaving the poor little pigs vulnerable to that nasty wolf! Fortunately, they were quick enough to escape and lived happily ever after.

I am sure the children will enjoy sharing their own versions of the ‘Three Little Pigs’ with you later in the term, when you visit the classroom.
