Immersive Classroom

To support our English work, this week we visited the immersive classroom to experience a 'Bonfire Night'.  The children took turns to tap the walls in order to start the fireworks. Everyone listened to the fantastic sounds and effects in the room; we thought we could even smell the smoke! We heard the fire crackling away in the background and the crowds of people talking as they were waiting to watch the firework display. It felt very realistic and the children really enjoyed their visit. 

Following this, the children have written some lovely poetry using our senses as a focus too.
