Father Christmas is real!
Final week welcomes Christmas into the Infant school!
Despite feeling like an elephant has been sitting on my chest this week, the Infant school has been alive with Christmas cheer. This was best seen during the two performances of the Official Christmas Countdown performed so well by all the children. Staff organised and rehearsed their parts in such a short space of time and on the two show days the it all came together perfectly. People will never be able to get the tune of Dominic the Donkey out of their heads that is for sure. The Reception class simply continue to astound me how enthusiastic they all are in whatever you ask them to do. Keep it up guys!
Christmas Dinner and Christmas Jumpers were also enjoyed over the past couple of days. Thank you to Norse and thank you to the staff for their assistance serving and entertaining the children during the meal. I do not think I have ever seen so many sequins, glitzing up the place. There must now be a global shortage I should think for all those housed on the variety of Christmas attire on show.
If those were not enough Christmas festivities for you, Father Christmas popped by on the final day to distribute selection boxes kindly donated by our PTFA. He also read the children a story and kept them entertained in between party moments.
It has been a busy term, but everyone has done well. I will see you all on 7th January 2025.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year - be safe.
