Celebrations
Diva Lamps using dough and decorations.
This week the Ladybirds have been making diva lamps and decorating them with beautiful sequins, to support their understanding of different celebrations throughout the world. We began the week with the story of ‘Rama and Sita’ (link to the story below). The children made stick puppets to use in the puppet theatre, and in literacy we drew a picture of our favourite character from the story. Next, we tried saying the name aloud, to hear sounds in the word and write the letter formations too. Great effort, well done!
