Change and Adaption

The Ladybirds have been learning about ‘Change and Adaption’ during Science Week. For example, polar bears have fur between the pads on their feet – to stop them slipping on the ice. Following on from lots of activities and discussions about adaption, the children were given a fun activity to create their own animal. They could include features of more than one animal if they preferred to! Once their plan was labelled and completed, the Ladybirds chose the junk modelling they needed to make their invention. Everyone worked hard to find the best resources to make their model and used their plan as they created it.
