A Welcome Return!

New Playground Equipment courtesy of our PTFA!

Welcome back after our half-term break. Thankfully, I do feel better than I did prior to the holiday. It is good to be back seeing everyone once again.

As you can see from the picture above, our PTFA have kindly purchased new playground equipment for all our pupils to enjoy using during their breaktimes. Here, our Sports Committee members are celebrating the new items. Thank you must go to the PTFA for getting yet more resources for us with the funds that have been raised from the various events.

The children have returned enthusiastic and eager to learn and this always makes me feel proud. Our children always want to absorb new things and are so keen to tell their adults about their experiences or about relevant information they already know. They are a fantastic bunch.

Next week, we have our World Book Day celebrations on Wednesday 5th March, so remember that pupils can come dressed up, should they want to, as their favourite book character, in pyjamas (bedtime stories) or if they prefer not to dress up, they can simply come in uniform as normal. Mrs. Vaughan is also busily preparing a further presentation to relevant parents on Reading and the Phonics Screening Check for our Year 1 and some Year 2 children.

Have a great weekend everyone!
